Important points about the SSB HCM test
- Same CAPF-wide 5%-relaxation, flat-10-word-per-mistake formula as CRPF, BSF, CISF, and ITBP Head Constable (Ministerial): Net Speed = (words typed − (mistakes beyond the forgiven 5%) × 10) ÷ minutes. This is now implemented exactly (fullErrorPenalty 10, halfErrorPenalty 5, 5% relaxation), not approximated.
- SSB-specific backspace confirmation was not directly found during this research pass -- disabled is kept as the conservative CAPF-wide baseline (matching confirmed CRPF, since some individual forces, like BSF, have their own confirmed different setting -- see BSF HCM's own category notes). Confirm against SSB's current notification.
SSB HCM
